Private Equity Firms Begin Investing in Farmland
Phillyburbs.com, has a great article on the move by equity firms into agricultural land investment. According to the article "land values have increased 20 percent to 30 percent in the last 16 months". It goes on to say that the private equity firms involved in this investment are expecting an average return of between 8 and 10 percent on the year.
